Turvo password FAQ

Your account and your organization’s Turvo platform security is of the utmost importance. To ensure your account is safe, we have a password policy to make sure the password used to log in to your Turvo account is strong and secure.

How do I know if my password meets all of the requirements?

When creating your Turvo account, updating your password, or resetting your password, the requirements are displayed after the Confirm new password field. When a requirement has been met, the circle next to the line item will have a green check mark.

Passwords that are missing one or more requirements will have a grey circle next to the line item and the button to continue with creating your account or updating your password will be greyed out, preventing you from saving the password.

Note: This is the same experience when updating/resetting a password via Turvo mobile.

I received a pop-up that my account is going to be locked due to numerous incorrect password attempts. What should I do?

The Account lockout warning pop-up is displayed after 9 consecutive incorrect password attempts. Turvo will lock your account for 15 minutes after 10 incorrect password attempts.

If you can’t remember your password, use the Forgot password? link available on the login page to reset your password and prevent locking your account.

My account is locked for 15 minutes. What do I do?

There’s no work around for the 15 minute lock. Once the 15 minutes is up, you can try logging into your account again. If you can’t remember your password, we’d recommend using the Forgot password? link (as described above) to reset your password and prevent locking your account again.

I received a Turvo Account Locked email, but I haven’t tried logging into my account.

If you’ve received email notification that your account has been locked, but you haven’t tried logging into your account, please contact Turvo Support, as there may be a possible security breach.

Does my password expire?

Yes, Turvo passwords expire after one year. When your password has expired, an Expired password pop-up will greet you upon login prompting you to reset your password. In order to continue into your account, you must change your password.

How do I update my password inside of the Turvo platform?

To update your password, log in to your Turvo tenant click your profile icon at the top right corner of your screen. Then, select Change password from the drop-down menu.

You can also update your password via the Turvo Mobile app by tapping the gear icon at the top right corner of the Turvo menu and selecting Change password from the Settings menu.

Note: Changing your password on one platform (web or mobile) updates your password for the other platform, you don’t need to change it on both. However, changing your password on one platform will log you out of the other, so you’ll need to log back in with your new password.
