New DAT RateView integration feature:

We are enhanced our current DAT integration to include DAT’s RateView feature. The RateView feature is a comprehensive pricing and freight market analysis platform that includes benchmarking, contract and spot market rates, fuel charges, market conditions Index (MCI), Ratecast forecasting, and more. This feature covers spot and shipper-to-carrier contract rates for van, reefer, and flatbed equipment types.

Users can configure the DAT Rates in Admin console (Admin console > Settings > Shipment > DAT Rates) by specifying which contract, spot, or both rates to enable. Users can also display DAT rates strategically in shipment views, considering DAT's credit limit-based charging and twice-daily rate updates and facilitate a comparison of rates from other third-party integrations, like Greenscreens.ai, allowing users to make informed decisions.

See the DAT RateView in Turvo article in the Help Center for more information.

When a customer or a carrier has a contract that uses PC Miler as a distance provider, Turvo factors in all the stops to rate the shipment (not just the first and last stops).

Shipment Exception mapping and EDI compatible reason codes:

In this release, we added the Exception to Reason Code (EDI) Linkage section to Admin Console > Settings > Shipment. Turvo’s standard reason codes are now associated with relevant Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) codes, providing better API compatibility in sharing shipment exception data with Turvo’s third-party integrations.

We also updated the filter options for Shipments and Workbench > Shipments to support filtering for shipments with EDI codes in their exception reason.
