Understanding shipment tabs

Once a shipment has been created, you can view and edit the shipment details by navigating to Shipments in the left navigation bar. You can select from the various shipment phases.

Note: Some features described below may not be enabled by default for all tenants. If you see something you'd like to enable for your tenant, reach out to your Turvo representative for more information.

Once in the view that contains all shipments, you can choose to view the list in card view or list view. Clicking the card icon at the top right corner will allow you to view all of the shipment cards while clicking the list view icon from the top right corner will present shipments and their information in a list.

The Messenger tab will display all messages that you have permission to see. For more information on how to use Messenger, check out our Message your Turvo contacts article.

The Documents tab houses any documents added to the shipment. You can add documents by selecting + Add document. To learn more, see our video Adding required documents to shipments.

If there are any notes (or private special instructions) for the shipment, you can add the details in the Notes tab. Notes are not shared across tenants, but they will be visible to all users in your tenant.

Important note: Notes are not private. Do not add any notes that you wish to keep private.

The Contacts tab allows you to add a new contact to the shipment as well as view and edit all existing shipment contacts.

The Sharing tab enables you to connect and collaborate in real time across transportation planning and execution activities. This can involve one organization inviting another to collaborate via connected Turvo tenants allowing the two organizations to be connected on the Turvo Network.
